Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Engineering Designer.

Responsibilities

Designs and analyzes fire sprinkler systems.
Conducts feasibility studies on new and modified designs
Provides design information documentation for submittal to, and review of clients, owners and authorities having jurisdiction
Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
Designs with the use of computer aided design systems. Revit experience is a plus
Stock list systems and coordinate with client and fabrication departments for accurate prefabrication of systems designed
Communicates with customers to address needs for design projects (i.e. provides proposals, schedules design, etc.)

Qualifications

Engineering design experience & certification preferred
5 years of Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred
NICET Certification Preferred

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,175.00 - $11,275.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
