Going fully digital in 2018 has helped keep us efficient in using our in-house diagnostics such as x-rays, blood analyzers and urinalysis equipment. We work closely with our clients to support and care for their best friends to ensure a long happy life together. What You’ll Be Working On

● Establish long-lasting relationships with clients, patients, and team members

● Perform general practice and patient intake

● Assist the veterinarian in medical, surgical, and dental procedures

● Take diagnostic radiographs

● Provide compassionate specialized care

● Take vital signs, draw blood, and gather medical history

● Administer medication and fluid doses as directed by a veterinarian

● Skilled venipuncture

● Intravenous catheter placement

● Properly care for and maintain the operating room, surgical materials, and inventory of medical supplies

● Perform laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment

Qualifications

● High School Diploma or equivalent is required

● CVT license in the state of Oregon is highly preferred but not required

● A minimum of one year of technician experience with general practice is required

● Skills in restraining, collecting history, drawing blood, monitoring patients under anesthesia,

and patient recovery are required

● Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow

● Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

● Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
