Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative plays a vital role within our company, serving as the first point of contact for potential customers and guiding them through the solar journey. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can clearly explain technical and financial aspects of solar solutions while building trust with customers. They will work closely with the Sales team to qualify leads, provide accurate proposals, and ensure a seamless transition from initial inquiry to full consultation. This role requires a customer-focused approach, an eagerness to learn, and a drive to contribute to the company’s growth. The ideal candidate will also have an entrepreneurial mindset to develop their career within the organization.

This role will primarily be onsite in our Lexington office with the ability to be flexible.

Responsibilities:

Qualify inbound leads and guide potential customers through the initial stages of the solar purchasing process
Educate customers on solar energy solutions, financing options, and system benefits in a clear and engaging manner
Stay up-to-date on the latest industry technology, trends, and policies to provide accurate information to customers
Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and system recommendations
Maintain detailed and organized customer records in CRM software, ensuring seamless handoff to the next stage in the sales process
Identify areas to improve the efficiency and accuracy of sales processes, documentation, and customer communications
Proactively anticipate and address customer questions, objections, and concerns before they arise
