Clinic Manager / Director of Practice Operations
Illume Aesthetics Medford, OR Full-time | On-site $90,000–$100,000 per year + performance bonus
About the Role
Illume Aesthetics is seeking an experienced Clinic Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing medical aesthetics practice.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage the team, improve clinic performance, oversee operations, and help drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is confident leading employees, reviewing financial results, solving problems quickly, and creating a strong patient and team experience.
This is not a front desk manager position. We are looking for a true operational leader who can take ownership of the practice and make sound decisions without relying on the owner for every routine issue.

- Manage and develop Front Desk Team Members, Aestheticians, Aesthetic Injectors, Medical Assistants, and support staff
- Conduct one-on-one meetings, coaching, performance reviews, and accountability conversations
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain qualified team members
- Monitor revenue, expenses, labor, inventory, and key clinic performance metrics
- Review P&L performance and provide recommendations to ownership
- Improve schedule utilization, rebooking, retention, memberships, retail sales, and patient conversion
- Resolve nonclinical patient concerns and oversee service recovery
- Build and improve workflows, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Partner with ownership, the Medical Director, HR, finance, and marketing support
- Maintain clear boundaries between operational leadership and clinical decision-making
- Support HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Five or more years of leadership or management experience
- Experience leading a patient-facing, healthcare, or high-service team
- Demonstrated responsibility for a department, business, budget, or P&L
- Strong financial and operational skills
- Experience coaching employees and addressing performance concerns
- Proven success improving revenue, profitability, retention, efficiency, or team performance
- Strong judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using practice-management, scheduling, CRM, and reporting systems
- Medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, dermatology, private-pay healthcare, or related experience strongly preferred
A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Equivalent leadership and operating experience will be considered.
