About Mi Casita
Mi Casita is a growing network of Spanish-immersion preschools committed to nurturing joyful, bilingual learners through project-based, culturally rich early education. With 7 schools across the Philly-Metro region and Fort Worth, Texas, and an ambition to continue growing, Mi Casita offers high-quality care and education that builds community, curiosity, confidence, and connection to language and culture.
Our community of educators and families shares a belief that language immersion is a gift - one that opens minds, hearts, and opportunities for our children. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a mission-driven, bilingual, and entrepreneurial leader to help us achieve our ambitious enrollment goals.
Position Overview
The Admissions Director owns the enrollment experience at Mi Casita Bebé, Mi Casita Ardmore, and Mi Casita Spring House, with a singular focus on excellence at every stage of a family's journey - from first inquiry to enrolled, engaged member of our community. This is a role for someone who treats every family interaction as a chance to exceed expectations: responding same-day whenever possible, building genuine partnership with School Leaders, and creating a warm, personalized experience that makes families feel deeply seen and confident in their choice of Mi Casita.
This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role for someone who thrives on both data and connection - equally comfortable tracking conversion rates in our CRM (HubSpot) and meeting families at a school tour or community event.
Success in this role is measured by occupancy at each assigned school (with a goal of getting our schools 95%+ full), lead conversion rates across the full enrollment funnel, and the consistency, warmth, and professionalism of the family experience at every touch point. The specific schools supported by this role may evolve over time as Mi Casita continues to grow; today, this role is responsible for admissions excellence at Mi Casita Bebé, Mi Casita Ardmore, and Mi Casita Spring House.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Conversion & Responsiveness
- Respond to all new leads within 24 hours - often same-day - and maintain exceptionally high conversion rates from inquiry to tour and from tour to application.
- Use a disciplined follow-up system, proactively monitor the pipeline, close gaps quickly, and consistently move families through each stage of the enrollment funnel.
- Keep lead and family data accurate and current in HubSpot so nothing falls through the cracks.
Collaboration with School Leaders
- Anticipate the needs of the School Leaders at Mi Casita Bebé, Ardmore, and Spring House, providing proactive solutions and dependable support in enrollment efforts.
- Build trust through clear, consistent communication and follow-through, aligning with Directors on openings, tours, family needs, and follow-up strategies.
- Show up as a true partner to each School Leader in achieving enrollment success at their school.
Lead Generation & Brand Awareness
- Proactively identify where lead volume can improve and independently develop well-designed, data-informed strategies to generate new leads.
- Fully own outreach initiatives from concept through execution - community partnerships, local advertising, and grassroots, word-of-mouth efforts.
- Consistently deliver creative, high-impact outreach that elevates Mi Casita's brand awareness in each community served.
Family Experience & Professionalism
- Create a truly personalized experience for every family - anticipating needs, noticing meaningful details, and making families feel deeply seen and valued.
- Communicate with warmth and clarity, listen attentively, and adapt the experience to each family's unique story.
- Independently plan, promote, and host events - such as open houses, tours, and community activities - that reflect Mi Casita's warm, inclusive, bilingual culture.
- Monitor and improve family satisfaction, Google reviews, and referral activity.
Enrollment Impact
- Play a key role in helping Mi Casita Bebé, Ardmore, and Spring House achieve and sustain 95%+ occupancy.
- Think strategically across the full enrollment funnel - not just generating applications, but actively partnering with Directors to convert families, close seats, and move each school toward capacity.
- Analyze pipeline and conversion data across the full sales funnel - sales cycle length, and conversion rates both end-to-end and stage-to-stage - to identify where and why leads are lost, and to understand what distinguishes schools that are full from those that aren't.
- Anticipate enrollment challenges and lead or support targeted campaigns that materially shift occupancy.
Excellence, Growth & Team Culture
- Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the role - anticipate needs, solve problems creatively, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances without being asked.
- Actively seek feedback from School Leaders, families, peers, and supervisors, and apply it consistently to elevate both personal performance and the admissions experience.
- Bring exceptional enthusiasm, energy, and joy to the work every day, inspiring others through positivity and dedication to Mi Casita's mission.
- Demonstrate exceptional honesty, fairness, and reliability; build trust and collaborate generously with colleagues across the network.
Travel Requirements
- Regular travel between Mi Casita Bebé, Mi Casita Ardmore, and Mi Casita Spring House is required; candidates should expect to be on-site across these schools multiple days per week.
- Reliable personal transportation is necessary, as this role involves regular school visits and community engagement activities.
- Assigned schools may shift over time as Mi Casita's admissions needs evolve.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (required).
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in admissions, enrollment, sales, customer experience, or a related family-facing field - or the ability to make a compelling case for transferable skills from another industry.
- A relentless focus on excellence and results - consistently meeting or exceeding response-time and conversion benchmarks.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships with school leaders or similar stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills; comfort using CRMs (HubSpot preferred) and managing pipeline data.
- Analytical and sales-strategy mindset - comfortable digging into funnel and conversion data (sales cycle length, stage-to-stage drop-off, performance differences across schools) to sharpen tactics, not just report on results.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; warm, confident, and persuasive with families and colleagues.
- Marketing or outreach experience, especially in campaigns that engage families or local communities, preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - proactive, resourceful, and excited to test, learn, and iterate.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently between assigned school sites and local events.
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, as required, to support family events, open houses, and tours that accommodate parents' schedules.
