You will have full runway to prospect, build partnerships, and establish market dominance across:

Collegiate & Campus Outlets: NCAA bookstores, campus convenience stores, spirit shops, university visitor centers, and campus gift shops.
Athletic & Stadium Retail: College athletic departments, stadium/arena team stores, fan shops, and athletic conference offices.
Motorsports & Destination Venues: NASCAR tracks, motorsports venues, team dealers, and resort gift shops near major sports destinations.
Travel & Lodging: On-campus and boutique hotels (e.g., Graduate Hotels, campus conference centers), airport stores in college towns, and travel centers near major university hubs.

A Day in the Life

Time / Focus & Responsibilities 60% Active Prospecting & Outreach High-volume phone calls, targeted emailing, and custom LinkedIn outreach to sports buyers and equipment managers (10–20+ target businesses daily).20% Pipeline & Deal Strategy Pitching, negotiating, using a Challenger sales approach, and advancing deals through the HubSpot funnel.10% Market Research Identifying untapped niche markets (campus resorts, stadium vendors, regional chains) and finding key decision-makers.10% Strategy & Leadership Alignment Partnering with marketing, licensing, and executive leadership to refine game-day product offerings and division expansion strategy. Key Success Metrics Your performance and division trajectory will be evaluated on:

New Accounts Opened & New Revenue Generated
Pipeline Value & Qualified Opportunities Created
Outbound Activity Completed (Calls, Emails, Touches)
Trade Show Leads Converted
Average Deal Size
Customer Retention & Repeat Orders
Market Expansion into new, previously untapped sports verticals

What We’re Looking For Experience & Credentials

3–5 years of Inside B2B Sales / Business Development (Experience in sports licensed merchandise, fan apparel, collegiate retail, or consumer goods is strongly preferred).
Track Record of Hitting Quotas: Proven history of meeting or exceeding monthly revenue targets (be prepared to present your numbers during the interview!).
Leadership Capability: Prior experience leading a team, managing a territory, or driving an initiative—with the ambition to build and direct a full sales team.
CRM Mastery: Hands-on experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM) to track data and manage the pipeline.
