Location: Medina, OH (On-Site) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $50,000–$55,000 base salary + up to 20% annual bonus Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM (minimum 40 hours/week on-site; hours may vary during camps, clinics, and seasonal programming)
About Sogility
Sogility is a technology-driven soccer training facility built on a simple belief: the fastest way to develop a player is through intentional, hands-on repetition — guided by real data. We combine cutting-edge training technology with small-group, trainer-led sessions to deliver a high-touch experience that accelerates technique development faster than traditional training models.
Our players complete hundreds of quality touches per session while receiving instant performance feedback through real-time data, live leaderboards, and individualized progress tracking via the Sogility Indicator Training App. Every session is designed to address the four pillars of player development: technical, tactical, physical, and mental.
Sogility is for every player — from beginners just falling in love with the game to competitive athletes pushing for the next level. We don't train teams. We develop individuals. With six locations across the United States and growing, we're building the premier data-driven training solution for soccer players of all ages and abilities.
We're looking for a driven, operationally sharp leader to run our Medina facility and set the standard for what a Sogility location looks and feels like.
The Role
As General Manager of Sogility Medina, you own the facility — full stop. You're responsible for everything that happens inside our four walls: the staff, the customer experience, the cleanliness, the partnerships, and the culture. When something goes right, you built the system that made it happen. When something goes wrong, you own it and fix it. This isn't a desk job — you lead from the floor.
You'll report directly to the Sogility HQ team and serve as the primary point of contact for your market.
What You'll Do
Operations & Facility Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional training environment at all times
- Oversee facility maintenance and coordinate repairs or vendor relationships as needed
- Ensure the facility meets or exceeds Sogility brand and safety standards daily

- Recruit, hire, train, and develop all facility staff
- Build and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across all programming

- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with local youth sports clubs, schools, and organizations
- Represent Sogility at local events and serve as a community ambassador for the brand

- Proactively surface issues and bring solutions, not just problems
Compensation & Schedule Details
- Base Salary: $50,000–$55,000 depending on experience
- Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary, tied to facility performance metrics
- Core Hours: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Minimum Commitment: 40 hours/week, fully on-site
- Flexible Scheduling: We accommodate reasonable schedule adjustments as long as the 40-hour on-site requirement is met
- Seasonal Variability: During camps, clinics, and special programming, hours may begin as early as 9:00 AM — flexibility and adaptability are essential
What We're Looking For
- Driven and relentlessly motivated — you set high standards for yourself and the people around you, and you don't settle for "good enough"
- Obsessively organized — you run tight, well-structured shifts where every staff member knows their role and every detail is accounted for; nothing slips through the cracks on your watch
- A true culture builder — you don't just manage people, you develop them; you create an environment where staff are proud to work and athletes are proud to train
- A servant leader — you lead from the floor, not behind a desk; your team follows you because you've earned it
- Soccer background strongly preferred — a deep understanding of the game, the culture, and what players and families are looking for in a training environment is a major advantage
- Genuinely passionate about youth development — you understand that what happens in this building matters beyond wins and losses; you're invested in the kids, not just the program
- Takes deep pride in the facility — you treat this space like it's yours; cleanliness, presentation, and atmosphere are non-negotiables you hold yourself and your team to every single day
- 2+ years of experience in facility management, operations, or a related leadership role
- Comfortable working evenings and adjusting hours for seasonal programming demands
