Company: Brevard Tile
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
Pay: $22 to $26 per hour based on experience, W2
Benefits: Gas card plus vehicle usage pay while we finish setting up the company truck
About the Position
Brevard Tile is a family owned remodeling company in Melbourne. We have been doing bathrooms, kitchens, tile, and floors in Brevard County since 2000, and we hold a 4.9 star rating from 150+ Google reviews. We keep that score by finishing jobs clean and complete. The last 5 percent of every job is what this role owns.
You are the finisher. When the tile is set and the big work is done, you make the home feel DONE. You will install paper holders, towel bars, and mirrors. Touch up paint. Run clean caulk lines. Install baseboards. Handle small drywall repairs. Adjust doors and hardware. Knock out warranty visits. You will work inside finished, occupied homes, so clean work and respect for the customer's house are everything.
What You Get
Steady year round work with an established in-house team. No chasing jobs, no bidding, no invoicing. We hand you the punch list, you make it disappear. Hit our quality standard for your first 90 days (punch lists done, zero callbacks) and your rate goes up.
What You Need
3 or more years of remodel, punch out, or handyman experience. Your own hand tools. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. A sharp eye for small details. The kind of character we can trust alone in a customer's home.
Bring photos of your finish work to the interview. Apply today.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Application Question(s):
- Do you currently have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license?
- How many years of experience do you have with drywall repair, painting, and punch-out or handyman work?
- Are you available to work Monday–Friday and drive to job sites across Brevard County?
- Describe the last punch-out list you personally completed: what items were on it, how many, and how long did it take you start to finish?
- Do you own your own hand tools? List the specific tools you would bring on day one (for example: caulk gun, miter saw, drywall knives, laser level, oscillating tool).
- You will work alone inside finished, occupied homes. Tell us specifically how you protect a customer's floors, furniture and finishes, and how you leave the space at the end of the day.
- Our job post asks you to bring photos of your finish work (caulk lines, baseboard joints, paint touch-ups, mirror/hardware installs). Confirm you can bring these to an interview and briefly describe one photo you would show us and why.
- Tell us about a callback or warranty issue on work you had done. What went wrong, how did you find out, and what did you do to make it right?
- What hourly rate are you looking for, and are you comfortable with W2 pay in the $22-$26 range based on experience? Please begin your answer with the word BASEBOARD so we know you read the full job post.
