Shifts may be daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays, or overnight. We offer shift differential and overtime. Days worked are typically based on a rotating schedule, which may include alternating weekends, and may include built-in overtime. Below is an example of a rotating schedule:

In addition to the base pay, plus time and a half for all hours over 40 in a workweek, all Operations employees receive shift differential as follows:

M-F 2300-0700 - Additional $4.00 per hour

Sa-Su 0700-2300 - Additional $4.50 per hour

Sa-Su 2300-0700 - Additional $5.00 per hour

JOB TITLE: Vehicle Supply Technician (VST)

SUMMARY: Accountable for stocking, cleaning, equipping, and issuing of units and necessary supplies to crews in preparation for field shifts. Directs the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.
Provides accurate, timely and customer based service to reporting field crews to ensure efficient in-service times. Delivers supplies to off campus crews and returns used equipment to appropriate facilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is required to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality in regards to electronic records and all forms of proprietary information. Work products and/or protected information will not be shared or otherwise transferred outside of the company without the prior expressed consent of the President/CEO.

Assigns the appropriate vehicle and issues medical supplies.
-
Recovers, cleans, and prepares exchange item equipment from hospitals.
-
Maintains a safe and clean work environment (including biohazard maintenance).
-
Performs necessary work of all functions pertinent work to preparing and pre-launching start of shift and end of shift duties to prepare for next shift.

Complies with state, local, and federal laws (e.g. state & county inventory levels, OSHA).
-
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all levels of staff and personnel.
-
Demonstrates excellent communication, cooperation and responsiveness with operations staff.

Observes and complies strictly with all HIPAA policies and regulations.

Maintains a safe and healthy workplace in accordance with all appropriate OSHA standards, company policies and standard operating procedures.

Attends continuing education pertinent to materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
-
Physically and mentally able to operate an ambulance type vehicle.

Current Florida Driver License with driving record that meets company insurance requirements.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Must be able to read/write/speak/understand English language fluently.

Proficient in MS Office platforms.
-
Standard/Specialized office equipment and software programs related to office processes.
