Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Full-Time Hotel Banquet Manager to lead our banquet operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all banquet events, ensuring exceptional service delivery that exceeds guest expectations. Your leadership will inspire our hospitality team to deliver memorable experiences while maintaining operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills in a fast-paced, vibrant environment dedicated to hospitality excellence.

Duties

Coordinate and supervise all aspects of banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdown to ensure flawless execution.
Lead, train, and motivate banquet staff to deliver outstanding customer service aligned with hotel standards.
Manage food preparation and presentation for banquet functions, ensuring quality and safety compliance across all culinary offerings.
Oversee inventory control for banquet supplies, linens, and food items, maintaining optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
Utilize POS systems for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with culinary teams to plan menus that meet client specifications while adhering to food safety standards.
Monitor shift operations, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure adherence to health regulations and safety protocols.
Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to foster a high-performance team.
Analyze profit and loss reports to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and maximize revenue from banquet services.
Support catering and special event planning by coordinating logistics between clients, kitchen staff, and service teams.

Experience

Proven management experience in food service management or hospitality management roles within hotel or banquet settings.
Extensive background in food preparation, kitchen management, and culinary operations with a focus on fine dining or casual dining environments.
Demonstrated supervisory experience supervising hospitality teams in fast-paced environments such as restaurants or catering services.
Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and compliance with health regulations.
Experience managing budgets, conducting profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost control measures.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively, conduct interviews, and foster team development.
Background in managing large-scale events or banquets with attention to detail in event setup and execution.
Exceptional customer service skills combined with managerial communication abilities to ensure guest satisfaction at every event.
