Tier 2 IT Support Specialist

Position Summary

The Tier 2 IT Support Specialist serves as the primary escalation point for our Tier 1 Service Desk and plays a key role in supporting our managed service customers both remotely and on-site at customer locations.

The position requires strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, server, network, Microsoft 365/Entra ID/Intune, virtualization, and infrastructure platforms, as well as the ability to think critically, identify root causes, and help reduce recurring issues through process improvement and automation recommendations.

What You'll Do

Resolve escalated desktop, server, Microsoft 365, and network issues
Support Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
Support Microsoft Entra ID identities, authentication, and user management.
Assist with Microsoft Intune device enrollment, configuration, application deployment, and policy management.
Troubleshoot workstation, server, firewall, wireless, and networking issues.
Perform remote and onsite support for managed clients throughout Central Florida.
Document technical solutions and customer environments using Autotask PSA and IT Glue.
Participate in onboarding new customers, technology refreshes, and migration projects.
Collaborate with senior engineers on more advanced cloud and infrastructure projects.
Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on IT support experience.
Experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment is highly preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows desktop and server environments.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365.
Working knowledge of:
Windows 10 & Windows 11
Windows Server
Active Directory
DNS
DHCP
Group Policy
VPN technologies
Basic networking concepts
Experience using PSA, ticketing, and documentation systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Passion for continuous learning and technology.
