Corporate Compliance Assistant

Full Time

East Arkansas Family Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Corporate Compliance Assistant to join our team in West Memphis, Arkansas. This position provides administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Corporate Compliance Officer in maintaining and supporting the organization's Corporate Compliance Program.

The Corporate Compliance Assistant assists with compliance documentation, audits, reporting, policy management, risk management activities, regulatory readiness, staff training coordination, and quality improvement initiatives. This position plays an important role in helping ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards including HIPAA, OSHA, HRSA, and The Joint Commission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to the Corporate Compliance Officer.
Maintains compliance records, reports, logs, and documentation.
Assists with compliance audits, site reviews, and regulatory readiness activities.
Tracks incidents, complaints, corrective actions, and compliance-related activities.
Assists with policy and procedure management and document control.
Coordinates compliance meetings, trainings, and committee activities.
Maintains meeting minutes and prepares compliance reports.
Assists with risk management activities, incident reporting, and follow-up documentation.
Supports staff compliance education and onboarding requirements.
Assists with patient complaint and grievance tracking and resolution documentation.
Conducts site visits and compliance rounds at organizational locations.
Assists with data collection, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive compliance and organizational information.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Corporate Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
Experience in healthcare, healthcare regulatory compliance, administrative support, risk management, or a related environment preferred.
Healthcare regulatory experience preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare accreditation and regulatory standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, HRSA, and The Joint Commission preferred.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Strong organizational, documentation, and data management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, providers, patients, and leadership.
Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Ability to interpret and follow organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Self-motivated with the ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, and responsibility in assigned duties.
Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with fellow employees, medical staff, support staff, patients, families, and community partners.

Full-time position
Monday through Friday
Occasional Saturday coverage may be required from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Saturday shifts are scheduled in advance and shared among clinical staff as needed
