Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our residential property. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of property management practices, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations. This role will involve assisting in the management of tenant relations, maintenance requests, and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the property.

Duties

Assist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property management, including tenant relations and lease administration.
Maintain accurate tenant files and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
Negotiate lease agreements and contracts with tenants while ensuring adherence to company policies.
Manage maintenance requests by coordinating with facilities management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Support conflict management efforts by addressing tenant concerns and facilitating effective communication.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
Assist in marketing efforts to promote vacancies through various sales strategies.

Requirements

Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to negotiate effectively and handle contracts with professionalism.
Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate files and records.
Proficient in office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with tenants, vendors, and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
