Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and optimize sales performance. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team, foster a positive shopping environment, and uphold the store’s standards of excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual passionate about retail management and customer engagement to make a significant impact.

Duties

Lead and supervise all store operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and adherence to company policies
Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development to enhance their skills
Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
Oversee cash handling, cashiering, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store financials with accuracy and integrity
Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract customers and boost retail sales
Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience
Supervise shift management, organize staff schedules, and monitor employee performance for optimal team productivity

Requirements

Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable
Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles
Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and recruiting processes
Knowledge of budgeting, sales management, pricing strategies, and retail marketing techniques
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism with phone etiquette and customer interactions
Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, merchandising, and administrative tasks
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
