This role centers on the physical hardware — door controllers, electrified locking hardware, readers, request-to-exit devices, power supplies, and field wiring — while also supporting the software and configuration that brings those devices online. It supports ProTec's commitment to safety, craftsmanship, quality, and customer service by ensuring all systems are installed cleanly, function as designed, integrate properly with adjacent systems, and are documented to a standard appropriate for customer closeout.
Access Control Technicians are hands-on, detail-oriented field professionals who take ownership of installation quality and system performance, communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, and maintain disciplined documentation. They represent ProTec on-site and play a key role in customer retention through quality workmanship and responsive service.
