Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our vibrant team at a premier dog boarding, daycare, training, and grooming facility. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator that ensures smooth daily operations, exceptional customer service, and seamless communication between clients, staff, and management. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment for pet owners and their beloved dogs while supporting the overall success of our facility. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to pet care excellence.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing outstanding customer service at the front desk
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, using proper phone etiquette to answer inquiries and direct calls efficiently
Schedule appointments for dog boarding, daycare, training sessions, and grooming services using calendar management tools
Handle data entry tasks such as client information updates, booking records, and service logs with accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain organized office operations by managing correspondence, filing systems, and office supplies
Support administrative tasks including proofreading documents, managing client communication, and assisting with clerical duties as needed
Provide support to staff by assisting with basic office management duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements

Proven office management or administrative experience in a busy environment
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and general computer literacy
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone reception and strong phone etiquette
Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse clients
Experience with data entry, proofreading, calendar management, and time management tools
Previous front desk or clerical experience in a pet care or customer-focused setting is preferred
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with accuracy while maintaining a positive attitude
