Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal/Title Company Administrative Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing real estate transactions, conducting title searches, and supporting legal and administrative processes related to property ownership and transfers. Your expertise will ensure accurate documentation, compliance with underwriting guidelines, and seamless communication with clients, title companies, and legal professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex real estate projects while honing your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive title searches and review title records, public records, and legal descriptions to verify property ownership and identify any encumbrances such as easements or rights-of-way
Prepare and review real estate documentation including deeds, affidavits, closing statements, and legal descriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws
Manage real estate transaction workflows using specialized software for transaction management and title processing
Assist with title review processes by verifying title search results against underwriting guidelines and ensuring adherence to legal standards for real estate closings
Coordinate with clients, escrow officers, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication throughout the closing process
Research public records and title history to resolve discrepancies or issues that may arise during the transaction process
Support the preparation of easements, rights-of-way, and other legal documents required for property transactions or land development projects

Requirements

Proven experience as a paralegal in a law office or real estate environment with familiarity in real estate law and documentation review
Strong knowledge of title procedures, legal descriptions, easements, rights-of-way, and public records.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Qualia a plus
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while adhering to underwriting guidelines
Exceptional client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach
Experience working within law office settings or title companies is highly preferred
