Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz PC has an immediate opening for a Trust Accounting Specialist in its Memphis office. The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree and one to three years of work experience. The Trust Accounting Specialist will assist the General Accounting Manager with multiple attorney trust accounts at various banks.
Primary Duties:
- Posting incoming and outgoing trust transactions to client subledger.
- Processing daily bank account transfers.
- Entering checks into positive pay.
- Preparing wire transfer requests.
- Researching outstanding trust checks.
- Reporting trust account balances to Shareholders monthly.
- Assisting with annual audit.
- Ensuring compliance with Firm Trust Policy on all transactions.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000.
