Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Title Insurance Policy Clerk and become a vital part of the real estate transaction process! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for managing and processing title insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth property transfers by conducting thorough research, reviewing legal descriptions, and maintaining precise title records. Duties

Review and analyze title search reports, public records, and legal descriptions to verify property ownership and identify easements or right-of-way issues.
Prepare and process title insurance policies in accordance with company underwriting guidelines and real estate law.
Review real estate documentation including deeds, mortgages, easements, and other legal instruments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Communicate effectively with clients, law offices, escrow officers, and other stakeholders to clarify information, provide updates, and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with the review of title review reports and support the underwriting process by ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete for closing.

Experience

Proven experience in law office environments or real estate transaction management roles preferred.
Strong familiarity with title search procedures, public records research, and legal descriptions related to real estate transactions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with experience using real estate law software or title processing systems.
Understanding of real estate law principles related to easements, right-of-way issues, and property transfers.
Excellent research skills with keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines.
Prior customer service experience in a professional setting is highly valued for effective client communication.
