What You'll Do:

Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
Supervise day-to-day accounting functions which includes accounting for corporately managed bank accounts, including clearings and bank account reconciliations
Create and enter journal entries into accounting system(s)
Prepare monthly General Ledger account reconciliations and analysis
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and corporate finance partners to support business objectives
Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Lead, develop, and manage accounting staff, including assigning responsibilities, delegating authority, and providing training, coaching, and performance feedback
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall productivity
Prepare and submit required financial reports, ensuring completeness and adherence to deadlines Assist in managing integration, system reconciliations, and migration from legacy platforms
Other duties as required

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
7+ years of related work experience required, including 2 years in a managerial position
Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field is an asset
CPA designation preferred
Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management is preferred
Relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred
Experience with specialized accounting software or ERP systems is considered an asset
