Full Job Description

About the Opportunity

A global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) to lead supply chain planning across its North American operations.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for aligning demand planning, inventory strategy, manufacturing, procurement, and customer fulfillment. You'll partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory, and build a best-in-class planning organization.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges.

What You'll Do

Lead the monthly SIOP/S&OP process across North American operations.
Develop demand plans that balance customer requirements with manufacturing capacity and supplier capabilities.
Improve forecast accuracy while optimizing inventory and working capital.
Partner with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Customer Service to drive alignment.
Manage inventory strategies across multiple warehouse and distribution locations.
Develop supply plans for both domestic manufacturing and global sourcing.
Identify supply chain risks and implement proactive solutions.
Lead and develop a team of supply chain and planning professionals.
Track and improve key performance metrics related to service, inventory, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the planning process.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, SIOP, or S&OP.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
Strong background in demand planning, inventory management, forecasting, and supply planning.
Experience leading cross-functional planning meetings with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.
Experience managing domestic and international supply chains.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to influence leaders across multiple functions.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
APICS (CPIM or CSCP) certification preferred.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise planning software.
Experience within manufacturing, industrial products, engineered products, or durable goods.
