Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage financial records, payroll, and reporting on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently while supporting accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Post journal entries and assist with month-end close
Process payroll and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
Assist with budgeting and financial reporting as needed
Support ad-hoc financial requests and provide data for tax filings
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) and Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate: $28–$32/hr, depending on experience and responsibilities
Flexible, hybrid work schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
