Position Overview: The Trauma Licensed Psychotherapist or Psychologist (LMFT, LMSW, LPC, PhD/PsyD) will provide in person psychotherapy services to clients of Trauma Healing Therapy (THT). Clinical therapy services will include treatment individuals (adults and/or minors) at this time. We are currently looking for a full-time Licensed Psychotherapist or Psychologist (LMFT, LMSW, LPC, PhD/PsyD) to work from our Cupertino office who is ready to be a part of a dynamic, kind, growing, and collaborative team. This position is in person ONLY. Completion of a formal trauma training is a MUST for this position.
Note: Trauma Healing Therapy (THT) is a completely out-of-network (OON) provider. As such, we are NOT accepting therapists who are paneled with private insurance (either directly or through third parties like Rula, Grow, etc.) at time of hire or who are opted into Medicare.

Some Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments with clients (individuals adults and/or minors ) and provide in-person clinical counseling services to clients of Trauma Healing Therapy in accordance with company policies.
- Respond to clients’ requests for services or calls within 24-36 hours during scheduled shifts, whether such requests are made via email, phone, voicemail, or through the THT website.
- Communicate with a client’s treatment team (e.g., primary care provider, psychiatrist) as necessary.
- Available for 3 PM shift (2:15-8:15) and 2 AM shifts (8am-2pm), Monday-Friday.
- Complete written records for each client, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, and other required documents, within 24-48 hours of rendered therapy services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files.
- Attend mandatory weekly staff meetings, monthly meetings with Dr. Mariella Lauriola, and any required work-related training.
- Run psychoeducational workshops in the community or psychotherapy groups as needed.
- Adhere to all practice and professional procedures
- Not working in a any other setting (we are only looking for committed, FT employees that value life-work balance).
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be in alignment with THT’s mission, vision, and values.
- Master degree (LMFT, LMSW, LPC) or doctorate level degree (PhD/PsyD) in psychology or a related field.
- Active, unrestricted license as a psychotherapist( licensed with CA BBS as LMFT, LMSW, LPC) or psychologist (PhD/PsyD registered with CA BOP) in the State of California. A copy of the license must be provided to THT, and the license must remain active throughout employment. Immediate notification to THT is required if the license is suspended, restricted, revoked, or canceled.
- Preferred 2 years of licensed experience providing psychotherapy services (preferred in private practice settings).
- Formal trauma training (I.e. DBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, brain spotting, CPT etc) is required. EMDR training highly preferred.
- Candidates with training on couples/family therapy modalities are also strongly encouraged to apply (i.e., EFT, Gottman Method).
- Adherence to all laws, rules, regulations, and ethical codes governing psychological practice in California.
- Reliable attendance, timely arrival, and commitment to maintaining a minimum weekly caseload of 25 clients .
- Available for 3 PM clinical shift (2:15-8:15) and 2 AM clinical shifts (8am-2pm), Monday-Friday.
- Superior verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate demeanor, strong work ethic, and ability to provide professional counseling services aligned with THT’s mission.
- High Proficiency in EHR, Google Workspace, and video conferencing platforms.
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team is a must.
