Minimum Qualifications:
Any bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience OR
Any associate degree and six years of professional experience OR
CA Community College Teaching Credential in this discipline OR
The equivalent. (Equivalency Forms must be submitted for consideration)
AND A sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural,
disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community
college students

- Teaching assignments are part-time and temporary in nature. The District retains the right of assignment. Assignments are subject to Governing Board approval, adequate enrollment size, and assignment to a contract instructor.

MPC is partnering with Monterey Peninsula Unified School District and Pacific Grove Unified School District to offer college level coursework in both academic and vocational tracks through its College and Career Access Pathways. MPC and CSU, Monterey Bay have collaborated in enrolling students in cohort-based programs in which students take classes at both MPC and CSU, Monterey Bay while earning a CSU, Monterey Bay degree.
