Full Job Description

Bayline Sales Group is a sales and development firm looking for an Event Manager to bridge the gap between Burlingame and wireless connectivity. You’ll balance event logistics with sales conversations, showing clients that staying connected shouldn't be a luxury. By proving that accessible, wireless service is the smartest move for the town, the Event Manager leads the way in making high-quality connectivity available to everyone.

As an Event Manager, you'll receive specialized sales training to hone your ability to identify client pain points during sales interactions at outdoor events and pop-up locations. The Event Manager will then become skilled at explaining program benefits in relatable terms and assisting clients through a simple enrollment journey.

Responsibilities of the Event Manager

Participate in outreach and event-based sales efforts focused on increasing awareness of affordable wireless services and mobile connectivity resources.
Engage clients through conversational interactions that make enrollment opportunities clear, supportive, and easy to understand.
Recommend service solutions based on client communication needs, phone usage habits, and eligibility requirements while supporting overall sales growth.
Assist with event operations by coordinating client flow, maintaining organized displays, and supporting outreach logistics throughout the day.
Maintain detailed sales records of client conversations, completed enrollments, and pending follow-ups to support efficient account management.
Drive outreach and sales success by consistently turning community engagement into completed client enrollments and referral opportunities.

Qualities of an Event Manager

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Interest in business development or sales is a plus.
Brings a people-focused mindset to client interaction and service support.
Maintains a positive attitude in fast-paced outreach and event environments.
Explains wireless service options in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
