Full Job Description

Job Purpose

Review customer issued release information for the shipment of product to insure that our customer’s requirements are fulfilled on time and in accordance with the specific customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Insure that parts are shipped daily per customer order/release.
Communicate to the customer any instances where parts cannot be shipped on time and complete per the customer order/release.
Log on to all customer electronic demand systems and perform the required daily/weekly/monthly data exchange per the specific customer requirements of their system(s).
Monitor the customer issued delivery ratings and dispute any deductions that are not valid. Dispute the deductions per the customer specific dispute process.
Review ER Wagner –vs.- Customer accum quantities and correct any discrepancies.
Insure that the Shipping department is informed of the requirements that must ship on a daily basis. Inform the Shipping area of any changes to the customer shipping requirements.
Monitor customer electronic information systems such as on line bulletins, bulletin boards, emails and distribute information as necessary.
Follow Standard Work Processes to maintain customer portals related to order delivery & shortage communication
Follow the current procedure for handling customer increases and coordinate with the customer and the production areas to help develop the plan to accommodate the demand increases. Minimize the financial impact to ER Wagner with regards to customer demand fluctuation
Customer manual order entry as required.
Monitor ASN communication within functional area to insure transmission.
Perform back up duties for other C.S. Representatives.
Coordinate the replacement of rejected/suspect parts with the customer as needed.
Follow policies, procedures and guidelines including the company handbook.
Offer plant/companywide continuous improvement suggestions.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

· Education: High School Diploma

· Licenses/Certifications: None

· Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

o Electronic data interchange (EDI) experience.

o Customer Service/Distribution experience.

o Automotive order fulfillment and demand management systems experience.

o Communication skills both oral and written.

o PC skills.

o Clerical background (Typing, MS Office).

o Employee is to be an independent thinker and should be able to problem solve.

o Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while insuring all are completed as required.
