Front Office Manager

Fairfield Inn & Suites – Brookfield, Wisconsin
Lead the Guest Experience

We are seeking an energetic, service-driven Front Office Manager to join the leadership team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

The Front Office Manager plays a critical role in the success of the hotel. As one of the property's key operational leaders, you will lead the Front Desk team, drive guest satisfaction, develop associates, and ensure every guest receives the welcoming and dependable experience they expect.

We're looking for someone who doesn't simply manage a front desk; we want a leader who enjoys coaching people, solving problems, setting high standards, and creating memorable guest experiences.

For a hospitality professional looking to continue growing toward an Assistant General Manager or General Manager position, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your leadership and operational experience.

What You'll Do

Lead the daily operations of the Front Office and ensure an exceptional arrival and departure experience for every guest.
Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop Front Desk associates.
Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, recognition, and genuine hospitality.
Monitor guest satisfaction results and online feedback, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve performance.
Handle guest concerns professionally and empower associates to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Ensure Marriott Bonvoy members are recognized and receive appropriate program benefits.
Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards and Hawkeye Hotels' operating expectations.
Partner closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance to maximize room availability and ensure guestrooms are ready for arriving guests.
Manage Front Office scheduling and labor productivity based on hotel occupancy and business levels.
Ensure accurate cash handling, guest account management, and Front Desk procedures.
Assist with training and reinforcing hotel safety and security procedures.
Serve as Manager on Duty and provide visible leadership throughout the property.
Support the General Manager with hotel operations, special projects, and performance initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Previous hotel Front Desk or supervisory experience required.
Previous Front Office Manager, Front Desk Manager, or Front Desk Supervisor experience preferred.
Marriott experience is preferred but not required.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A genuine passion for hospitality and taking care of guests.
Ability to coach associates while holding teams accountable to established standards.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working with hotel technology and learning new systems.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this position isn't simply making sure the Front Desk is covered.

It's building a team that welcomes guests genuinely, recognizes loyalty, solves problems confidently, communicates effectively with other departments, and takes pride in the experience they provide.

You'll use guest feedback and performance data to identify opportunities, coach your team, celebrate improvements, and continuously raise the standard.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
