Aya Healthcare has an exciting Inventory Coordinator contract opportunity in Cleveland, OH!

Job Details:

JOB TITLE: Inventory Coordinator

CONTRACT DURATION: 20 Weeks

LOCATION: Cleveland, Ohio

PAY: $15-17/hr

SHIFT: Onsite
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

ONBOARDING TIME: Expect 2–3 weeks between offer to start date

Job Description and Requirements:

The Inventory Coordinator serves as the liaison between department operations and Supply Chain Management to ensure inventory levels accurately reflect departmental needs. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, monitoring stock levels, replenishing supplies, and supporting efficient supply chain operations within a healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with healthcare supply chain functions, inventory management systems, and barcode scanning technology while maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support daily departmental operations

· Act as the liaison between assigned departments and Supply Chain Management

· Monitor inventory usage and replenish stock in accordance with established policies and procedures

· Utilize barcode scanners, handheld computers, printers, and inventory management systems to track supplies

· Perform inventory counts, stock audits, and reconciliation activities

· Ensure accurate documentation of inventory transactions and supply movement

· Organize and maintain supply storage areas to ensure accessibility and efficiency

· Identify inventory discrepancies and communicate issues to Supply Chain leadership

· Assist with receiving, stocking, and distributing supplies as needed

· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and supply management

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

· Perform additional inventory and supply chain duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Experience in healthcare supply chain functions required

· Experience using barcode readers, handheld computers, and inventory-related technology required

· Strong organizational and inventory management skills

· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

· Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

· Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory management systems

· Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience as an Inventory Coordinator, Supply Chain Technician, Materials Management Technician, or Inventory Specialist

· Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment

· Experience with inventory audits and replenishment processes

· Familiarity with healthcare supply chain software and inventory control systems

Requirements (due at time of phone screen with recruiter):

· Resume with last seven years of work history if applicable - all work history gaps of 90+ days must be explained

· Upcoming requested time off for the duration of the contract

· Interview availability for the next 7–10 days
