Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Home Health Aide Recruiter & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding qualified Home Health Aides (HHAs) and other healthcare positions ensuring their personnel files remain compliant with federal, state, and payer regulations (ODM, ODA, DODD, and Medicare). This role also maintains detailed credential and compliance tracking systems to ensure timely renewals of licenses, certifications, and training requirements.

The position plays a critical role in sustaining agency readiness for audits, surveys, and accreditation reviews by maintaining meticulous and organized personnel documentation.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring (50%)

Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified Home Health Aides through job boards, community partnerships, and referral programs.
Screen applicants, conduct interviews, verify credentials, and facilitate background checks and employment references.
Coordinate onboarding, new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and competency testing.
Maintain accurate records of recruitment metrics and staffing needs.
Ensure all newly hired aides meet regulatory and agency standards prior to assignment.

Compliance & Credential Management (40%)

Create and maintain individual personnel charts for all HHAs in accordance with ODM/Medicare/Accreditation requirements.
Monitor expiring credentials such as: TB tests, CPR certification, nurse aide registry verification, background checks, and annual training.
Develop and update tracking systems or spreadsheets to ensure all employee compliance items are current.
Conduct periodic internal audits of aide files to ensure compliance with 42 CFR 484, OAC 5160-12, ODA, and DODD requirements.
Work collaboratively with HR and clinical management to ensure staff files are ready for audits, surveys, and payer reviews.

Administrative Support (10%)

Assist with policy updates related to hiring and personnel file maintenance.
Generate reports on compliance status, recruitment progress, and staffing trends.
Support the scheduling team with aide availability lists and credential statuses.
Participate in quality improvement meetings related to workforce and compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
