Full Job Description

After Sales Support/Parts Associate, (Wickliffe, OH).

National Lawn & Garden Tools supplier seeks an After Sales Support/Parts Associate who is detail oriented, well organized, has strong verbal and written communication skills, and is customer oriented. Applicants that are well versed in handling internal and external concerns and questions, is computer literate and is proficient with Email, MS Office, and the internet.

Purpose:

As an After Sales Support/Parts Associate, the team member will provide exceptional support to customers via phone or email. This position will address technical inquiries efficiently and effectively by providing needed assistance, troubleshooting, information and /or correct solutions to the customer or end user. This position will also be expected to receive inbound product, prepare and ship product and material, while maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Manage satisfactory customer interaction from start to resolution.

· Efficiently assist retailers, repair technicians and end users in getting correct parts for their jobs.

· Documents all customer interactions according to set case tracking process.

· Keep current on product knowledge and processes.

· Receive and process incoming phone, email and online sales requests.

· Data entry of sales and warranty order information into operating system to ensure accurate records.

· Provide accurate inventory counts and inspect inventory for quality compliance.

· Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors and quantities of merchandise.

· Complete order receipts from suppliers and stock them in the appropriate shelf locations.

· Pack and palletize products to ensure product will arrive at customer location without damage.

· Ensure accuracy of quantity and Part(s) shipped versus customer request, while meeting shipping deadlines.

· Adhere to the established processes for daily shipping and receiving of all incoming and outbound freight,

· Pull, pack, ship outgoing orders and document that information to Customer Service accurately.

· Requisition of additional materials, supplies and equipment.

· Manage individual performance.

· Support continuous process improvement.

· Reports directly to the After Sales Manager.

Qualification & Skills:

· High School diploma or nationally recognized regionally accredited equivalent required.

· Technical education in a related field, or related experience: or combination of education and experience are highly desirable.

· Knowledge of mechanical equipment.

· Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows.

· Experience in mechanical product support.

· Working knowledge of diagnostic procedures.

· Computer based warehouse management system experience.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

· Exceptional people skills with a focus on rapport building, listening and questioning skills.

· Strong documentation skills.

· English fluency for safety, training and documentation purposes.

· Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.

· The ability to continuously walk or stand, lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

· Ability to present ideas and communicate support point of view in user-friendly language.

· Exceptional customer service oriented.

Hours:

· Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
