Full Job Description

Your future role at a glance:

Location: Mequon, WI

Facility: Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee Campus

Department/Specialty: Nursing Unit 3 North

Schedule: PRN

How you'll make an impact in this role:

Provide compassionate direct care by assisting patients with daily activities and monitoring vital signs to ensure their comfort and physical well-being.
Champion patient safety by observing status changes and reporting real-time data to the clinical team, ensuring swift responses to patient needs.
Document the patient’s progress with accuracy and detail to maintain high-quality medical records and support seamless care transitions.
Collaborate on personalized care plans by sharing clinical observations and test results with preceptors to help tailor treatments for the best possible outcomes.
Support clinical workflows by coordinating patient transport and preparing environments for diagnostic services, ensuring the unit runs efficiently and safely.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

High school diploma/GED required.
Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.
