Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Senior Vendor Specialist to join our team and drive excellence in vendor management and contract administration. This pivotal role involves overseeing the lifecycle of vendor agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and fostering strategic partnerships that support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in procurement, legal drafting, and contract negotiation, coupled with exceptional document management skills. Duties

Lead the end-to-end process of vendor contract development, review, and negotiation to secure favorable terms aligned with organizational goals
Manage vendor documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as UCC law and Federal Acquisition Regulations
Collaborate with legal teams to draft, revise, and finalize contracts, including service agreements, purchase orders, and licensing arrangements
Conduct thorough contract reviews to identify risks, enforce compliance standards, and safeguard intellectual property rights
Utilize ERP systems like PeopleSoft and Salesforce for tracking contract statuses, vendor performance metrics, and procurement records
Support change management initiatives by updating contracts in response to scope modifications or regulatory updates using tools like DocuSign for electronic signatures
Engage in strategic planning and business development activities by preparing proposals, pricing models, and technical documentation to strengthen vendor relationships

Requirements

Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or contract administration within a corporate or government environment
Strong understanding of legal drafting, contract negotiation techniques, and document review processes
Familiarity with compliance management standards including UCC law, U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other relevant legal frameworks
Proficiency in document management systems and ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft and Salesforce; experience with DocuSign is a plus
Excellent research skills combined with strategic thinking to develop effective proposals and pricing strategies
Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while maintaining meticulous records using records management best practices
Strong negotiation skills paired with effective communication to foster positive vendor relationships and resolve contractual issues efficiently
