Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Radiologic Technician for a 6‑month assignment. The position is located within a correctional facility setting, requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to established imaging and safety procedures. This opportunity offers a stable schedule. 1 week of paid orientation prior to starting assignment.

The ideal candidate is confident with both routine and urgent X-Ray imaging, communicates effectively, and thrives in a consistent, structured environment. In this role, you will perform high‑quality diagnostic imaging exams, support clinical staff, and ensure consistent, professional patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams according to clinical guidelines
Prepare, position, and reassure patients for imaging procedures
Maintain and safely operate radiologic equipment
Document procedures accurately and follow facility standards
Assist with patient flow and prioritization of imaging requests
Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging area
Communicate professionally with patients, nurses, and providers
Support daily clinical operations in a secure, structured facility setting

Qualifications

Active California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
Current AHA BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year recent diagnostic imaging experience
Ability to perform routine and urgent imaging exams confidently
Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
Strong communication and patient‑care skills
Able to pass facility background/clearance requirements
No pre‑planned time off during the 6‑month assignment

Additional Requirement

Applicants who previously worked as a civil servant must have been retired from civil service for a minimum of one (1) year before working with our registry agency.
