Join our dynamic team at Path Resorts as the General Manager of one of our lakes region resorts and play a pivotal role in providing an unforgettable experience for our guests. In this key position, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional service standards, and lead a dedicated team in a stunning setting. Oversee daily resort operations to ensure smooth functioning and high levels of guest satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial goals, increase occupancy rates, and enhance profitability.
Monitor the resort's budget, manage expenses, daily reconciliations, cash management and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.
Recruit, train, and supervise resort staff, ensuring that all team members provide exceptional service to guests.
Coordinate with the human resources department to manage staff schedules, payroll, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety throughout the property. - Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for resort amenities and services.

Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to maintain a positive reputation and guest relations.

- Enforce resort policies and procedures consistently among staff and guests. - Analyze guest feedback and online reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the guest experience.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

Preferred Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a relevant field

- 3 - 5 years of experience in resort / retail management or a similar role in the hospitality industry

Proven track record of managing a team successfully
Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability
Familiarity with industry standard software and reservation systems
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly
Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to the hospitality industry
Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage with guests, staff, and external stakeholders
Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by resort operations
Capacity to work under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure

-Pay Range $60,000 - $70,000
