This position is for a Landscape Crew Leader with a landscape contractor located in Meridian, MS (15 miles east of Meridian).

Must be organized, trustworthy, sharp-minded, courteous and able to get along well with others. Non-tobacco company. Pay depends on experience and demonstration that you are capable of meeting company standards and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for supervising a crew of 2-6 landscape technicians
Responsible for landscape technician's quality and efficiency of work
Oversee the safety rules and regulations according to company standards
Responsible for the proper usage of all equipment and tools (zero turn mowers, trimmers and other outdoor power equipment)
Must provide outstanding customer service, well organized, trust worthy, sharp minded, courteous and able to get along well with others
Be able to drive up to one ton trucks (including trucks with manual transmissions); trucks may involve pulling trailers
Installation of plants, mulch, irrigation systems, lighting systems, patios, decks etc. May be exposed to chemicals and fertilizers
Training will be provided in all areas

Requirements and Qualifications: 12 months experience; valid driver's license; access to reliable transportation; ability to pass pre-employment test and background check.
Pay scale for the Crew Leader position is $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience and demonstration that you are capable of meeting company standards and requirements.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
