FRONT DESK MANAGER: Executive Health & Sports Center - Manchester, NH 03103

Part-time

FRONT DESK MANAGER PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Front Desk Manager’s purpose is to successfully coordinate our front desk staff and check-in activities for the club, including access control. They are also key contributors to maintaining a high level of customer service for our members and keeping our facilities running smoothly and efficiently on a day to day basis.

FRONT DESK MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Promote a friendly and professional image.

· Display complete knowledge of all Center operations assume responsibility for those operations during their shift.

· Supervise front desk staff and oversee customer service experiences.

· Resolve conflicts with members and provide appropriate responses to customer/member concerns, questions or complaints.

· Responsible for prompt and safe opening and closing of the building.

· Initiates membership transactions by assisting with tours of facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORKING CONDITIONS:

Applicant must be able to work 4-8 hr. shifts, carry items of up to 25 lbs., and have flexibility to work nights and weekends depending on business needs.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience in customer service or hospitality role preferred
Basic computer skills and knowledge
Prior experience in a busy environment
Prior team management experience preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to take direction and execute appropriately
Outgoing personality with team player mentality
High degree of integrity
Above average organizational skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service skills
Good communication skills and ability to connect with customers
Ability to multitask in high pressure situations
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
