Full Job Description

About Integrum Medical

Integrum Medical is a rapidly growing Primary Care and Psychiatric Mental Health practice serving the Phoenix metropolitan area. We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Credentialing Specialist who can independently manage all aspects of provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and recredentialing while helping expand our provider participation with commercial insurance plans.

This is a long-term opportunity for a credentialing professional who is proactive, organized, communicates well, and enjoys solving complex credentialing challenges.

Responsibilities

Credential and recredential Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
Complete Medicare, AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid), and commercial payer enrollments.
Maintain and update CAQH, PECOS, and NPPES profiles.
Manage provider enrollment from application through approval.
Follow up with insurance carriers regarding pending applications.
Maintain organized credentialing files and tracking spreadsheets.
Communicate credentialing status and barriers to management on a regular basis.
Work directly with payer representatives to resolve enrollment issues.
Coordinate provider documentation and licensing requirements.
Assist with adding providers to new insurance plans and expanding existing network participation.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of healthcare credentialing experience
Extensive experience with:
Medicare
AHCCCS / Arizona Medicaid
Commercial insurance credentialing
CAQH
PECOS
NPPES
Strong understanding of provider enrollment requirements.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple providers simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Highly Preferred Experience

We are looking for someone who brings more than basic credentialing experience.

Ideal candidates will have experience:

Successfully obtaining provider participation with insurance plans that have restricted or closed provider panels.
Preparing and submitting closed panel exception requests, Letters of Interest (LOIs), network adequacy requests, and supporting documentation.
Building productive working relationships with payer credentialing departments and provider enrollment representatives.
Navigating complex credentialing situations and identifying creative solutions to improve approval success.
Working with Arizona commercial insurance carriers and AHCCCS health plans.
Credentialing providers across multiple specialties.

Existing professional relationships with payer representatives are highly desirable.
