uHost is currently seeking an energetic, bright Linux System Administrator to work with our Managed Linux customers.
The successful candidate will provide complex technical services for our Linux managed hosting infrastructure and respond to the needs of customers. Other key responsibilities will include implementing, configuring and/or maintaining dedicated Linux servers in a high-availability environment. This position requires a candidate who shows self-initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or Trade School certificate in a related field
- Passion for Linux and Open Source

Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated technical Linux administration skills on RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Experience with project leadership, as well as product, services and solutions management
- Experience with Java/JEE application servers, including Tomcat, Resin, and JBoss
- Experience with Ruby on Rails Deployments
- Experience with PHP Deployments
- Experience with local area and wide area network administration
