Full Job Description

Summary:

Verigon has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, results-oriented Production Assistant. The selected individual will provide first class support and develop solutions for all areas of printed circuit assembly. These areas will include SMT, Automation Inspection, Hand Solder, Wave / Selective soldering, Cleaning, Box Build, and Conformal Coat.

Qualifications/Skills:

· Required high school diploma

· 1 year of experience in electronic assembly manufacturing, it’s a plus.

· Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

· Math skills and strong problem-solving abilities.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in English.

· US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities:

· Support and assist Production Supervisor and Team Lead in data collection, and material management.

· Assist Production Supervisor in both daily and project-based functions.

· Facilitate MRO and production material to operators.

· Willingness to work on all assigned duties as necessary to support the overall team and company goals.

· Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

· Analyze data to perform trend detection and prevention of scrap and defects.

Work Environment:

The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present. Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas.

· Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. when required and must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

· Occasional overtime may be required.

· Many of the job duties require standing for long periods of time and/or walking frequently.
