Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant chiropractic office team. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional patient service. Your energetic approach will help create a positive first impression for patients and visitors while efficiently managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, medical administrative experience, and a passion for healthcare support. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to improving patient well-being through excellent service and efficient office management.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a friendly and professional environment at all times
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Chiro Spring
Schedule appointments accurately utilizing Chiro Spring software and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily workflow
Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, practicing excellent phone etiquette and providing clear information about services and appointments
Collect and process insurance information, including health insurance knowledge related to Medicare and private insurers, ensuring proper documentation review
Maintain patient recall list for missed appointments by calling to reschedule
Maintain social media presence
Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with clinical confidentiality policies while managing electronic health records (EHR) management systems like Chiro Spring and Chiro Touch
Support administrative duties such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), document review, and general clerical support using Microsoft Office tools

Requirements

Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clerical skills
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Chiro Springs, Chiro Touch; clinic experience is highly preferred
Knowledge of health insurance processes including Medicare billing, medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and CPT coding are a plus
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone and in person
Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records management software
Prior experience in a dental or chiropractic clinic is desirable but not mandatory; clinic experience in general healthcare is advantageous
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation review, and data entry tasks
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positivity
