Overview
We place experienced, trustworthy house managers and assistants with private families across the valley. Our clients lead full, busy lives — and they count on their house manager to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing household needs. As the central point of contact for all household activities, you will ensure that daily operations run seamlessly, creating a comfortable and efficient environment for residents and guests alike. The ideal candidate will bring energy, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset to this vibrant role.

Responsibilities (vary upon client)

Coordinate and supervise household staff including housekeepers, chefs, childcare providers, and maintenance personnel to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.
Manage household schedules, including event planning, appointments, travel arrangements, and daily routines to optimize time management.
Oversee all aspects of residential cleaning, laundry, and housekeeping management to maintain a pristine living environment.
Plan and execute special events or gatherings within the residence, ensuring flawless organization from setup to cleanup.
Provide childcare support as needed, including supervising children’s activities and coordinating their schedules.
Act as a personal assistant by handling administrative tasks such as correspondence, shopping, errands, and vendor management.
Maintain inventory of household supplies and coordinate procurement to ensure all needs are met efficiently.
Ensure all household equipment and systems are properly maintained; oversee repairs or upgrades with trusted vendors.

Skills

Proven experience in event planning and hospitality management with excellent organizational skills.
Strong background in childcare, personal assistance, or household management roles.
Expertise in residential cleaning, housekeeping supervision, laundry services, and general property maintenance.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to anticipate needs and respond proactively.
Effective time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities smoothly.
Supervising experience leading household staff or service teams with clear communication skills.
Knowledge of cooking or culinary skills is a plus for meal preparation or event catering support.
