Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This specialized nursing role involves providing expert patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes through meticulous assessment, preparation, and post-procedure management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience, including proficiency with advanced medical technologies and EMR/EHR systems, to support our commitment to delivering exceptional minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This position offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to innovative patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards.
Minimum of two years of nursing experience in critical care settings such as ICU or Emergency Room; prior experience in interventional radiology is highly preferred.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems including Epic and Cerner; familiarity with medical documentation standards per HIPAA regulations.
Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology pertinent to interventional procedures.
Experience administering IV infusions, injections—including Botulinum toxin—and managing catheter care.
Strong clinical skills in aseptic technique, patient assessment, pain management, and acute care response.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of infection control practices and sterile processing procedures.
Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or specialized training in radiation safety are advantageous.
Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is desirable.
