Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, leadership, and customer satisfaction.
As a Lead Installer, you will oversee installations, mentor team members, and ensure every project meets Semper Fi's high standards. You are a direct representation of our company and play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install package units (ground and rooftop), mini-split systems, and horizontal and vertical split systems
- Perform ductwork installations, modifications, and cut-ins for supply and return vents
- Lead installation projects while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and implement effective solutions
- Work in Arizona's outdoor environment and varying job-site conditions
- Safely lift and maneuver equipment weighing 150+ pounds
- Operate and maintain professional installation tools and equipment
- Drive and maintain a company vehicle while representing the company professionally
- Communicate effectively with homeowners, coworkers, and management
- Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–4 years of HVAC installation experience
- Experience installing package units, split systems, mini-splits, and ductwork
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
- Ownership of all required lead installer tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- EPA Certification preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in demanding conditions while maintaining high-quality workmanship
