Full Job Description

Fusion Family Consulting is a collaborative mental health practice providing psychiatric care, behavioral pediatrics, individual and family therapy, TMS and Spravato treatment, and psychological and neuropsychological assessment services.

Due to demand for services in our area, we are seeking a psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor. The schedule can be tailored to your availability (full-time or part-time; business hours and/or evenings and weekends). Fusion Family Consulting provides administrative support, scheduling, testing materials, EMR, IT support, insurance claim filing, and patient billing.

Summary

This psychologist will primarily administer psychological and neuropsychological testing for clients ages 0–18 at our outpatient clinic. There is also an opportunity to provide psychotherapy (family and individual therapy) if desired. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of pediatric/adolescent development and experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses and a range of psychological tests. Experience with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care is preferred.

Required Education & Experience

· Doctoral Degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution.

· Training in child growth and development.

· Experience using a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests.

· Experience providing therapy to children with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care (preferred).

· Understanding of the impact of trauma and ecological, biological, and developmental factors on children and adolescents.

· Prior experience working with children & families (preferred).

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop outstanding leadership skills.

· Demonstrate commitment to high standards of patient care and maintain a positive experience for all children and families.

Required Licensure and Certification

· Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas, or the ability to obtain. (will consider Provisional License if close to licensure and all exams are completed and passed).

· Malpractice insurance is required.

Compensation and Scheduling

The independent contractor has the opportunity to work their own preferred schedule up to 7 days a week. The contractor is paid monthly based on production. The average hourly rate varies depending on the type of service, i.e. testing or therapy.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
