Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform advanced obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations, providing critical imaging services to support maternal and fetal health. Your expertise will aid in diagnosing a wide range of conditions, ensuring accurate assessments, and delivering exceptional patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your specialized skills in a collaborative environment committed to excellence and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed obstetric and gynecological ultrasound scans, including fetal development assessments, anomaly detection, and gynecologic evaluations.
Interpret imaging results accurately and communicate findings clearly to physicians and patients.
Apply comprehensive knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine, anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic procedures.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques during all procedures to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Utilize advanced sonography equipment and diagnostic radiology principles to produce clear, precise images for clinical review.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop appropriate diagnostic plans based on ultrasound findings.
Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures thoroughly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout examinations.

Requirements

Must be OB/GYN certified with the ARDMS
CPR Certification
2-3 years experience in OB/GYN
Excellent communications and customer service skills
Bilingual preferred but not required
Proven experience as an OB/GYN Sonographer with proficiency in maternal-fetal medicine and gynecologic imaging.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical imaging technologies.
Certification in sonography from an accredited program; additional credentials in obstetrics/gynecology preferred.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during clinical procedures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively relay information to patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to interpret diagnostic radiology images accurately within a fast-paced clinical setting.
Knowledge of patient care best practices with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
