Full Job Description

This position will effectively interact and communicate with a variety of patients from their initial point of contact through the continuum of care, as well as practice providers and staff. This position must encourage and maintain an engaging environment through consistent, positive, patient interactions. This position will have a comprehensive knowledge of the practice, offerings, and policies. It is a function of this position to uphold the standards and guidelines in accordance with practice standards. This position is on their feet all day.

At Pure Dermatology, our customized approach takes into account the patient’s own concerns while considering facial structure, body type, age, and skin quality in order to maintain balance. Our team combines injectables, lasers, energy devices and medical grade skincare and treatments to give the most efficient and effective outcome. We strive to make patients continue to look like their “PURE selves” and not unnatural or overdone.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service regardless of circumstances.
Able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, including prioritization of tasks, shifting of deadlines, coordination with multiple departments and individuals, implementation of organizational and tracking processes, etc.
Skillful in adapting a well-spoken communication style to interact with a variety of personality types, while ensuring any message is conveyed clearly and concisely with a positive demeanor.
Strong computer skills and ability to work in other programs and quickly adapt to new software; including use of a Voip phone system.
Able to work effectively with physicians and staff members to prioritize and organize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Capable of processing requests for information quickly and accurately, and involving other employees, when appropriate, to ensure patient needs are met.
Must exhibit effort and dedication to presenting a professional and positive image.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; capable of maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times and representing the practice appropriately in emails, telephonically, and in conversation.
Commitment to maintaining progressive knowledge and skills essential to successfully perform the duties outlined herein.
Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced, high demand, multi-tasking environment.
A strict adherence to privacy and HIPAA guidelines.
Attention to detail is critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary point-of-contact for all patient inquiries including, telephone, email, and website.
Schedule, encourage, and confirm appointments for several providers, using multiple platforms, and ensuring all scheduling criteria have been met.
Efficiently prepare patients for visits by providing and collecting any necessary documentation and information, using timely correspondence and adequate follow through.
Warmly greet all guests. Introduce and credential the practice and providers.
Confirm accurate and current intake has been collected and entered.
Execute proper and thorough communication methods with team members as necessary to ensure complete and resolute service is provided to all patients.
Review pricing, practice specials, and details of accepted rewards programs.
Work with an urgency to comfort and provide for all patients, at all times.
Maintain tidy and comfortable settings, both environmentally and personally.
Support, incorporate, and assist in the development of practice mission and goals.
Preserve current and/or create new policies and procedures in accordance with all HIPAA requirements to ensure Private Health Information remains confidential.
Remain active in continuing education to ensure knowledge base is current and consistent with expectations of the practice and healthcare industry.
Sustain an organized and prepared workflow and workspace by maintaining completion of duties and evaluate opportunities for improvement.

Salary
