Full Job Description

Job Overview
Coad Toyota of Paducah is seeking a motivated and dynamic Car Sales Executive to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles and a strong background in sales and customer service. As a Car Sales Executive, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the car buying process, ensuring they have an exceptional experience while achieving sales targets. Your role will involve working closely with inventory management and utilizing sales management software to track leads and customer interactions.

Hiring is based on background check, drug screen, and driving record results. The position will be comprised of a base salary (DOE) plus commission. The position will be a 5-day work week that will include every Saturday, with one day off during the week. The dealership is closed on Sundays. Any potential candidate must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be eligible for underwriting via our insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences for vehicle purchases.
Demonstrate vehicles and explain features, benefits, and financing options to potential buyers.
Manage inventory effectively, ensuring that all vehicles are presented in optimal condition.
Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using dealership software.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for improving overall dealership performance.
Participate in outside sales activities, including community events and promotions to attract new customers.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.

Skills

Strong understanding of the automotive market and current trends.
Proven experience in sales management within a dealership environment is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
Proficient in inventory management practices to ensure optimal stock levels and presentation.
Ability to effectively upsell products and services based on customer needs.
Familiarity with sales software tools for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting on performance metrics.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and persuasively.
A proactive approach to outside sales initiatives that drive traffic to the dealership.
