About the Job:

Our dental office office is an established, state-of-the-art, private practice and is currently seeking a patient coordinator/dental assistant to join our dynamic team.

Our team is busy and system-oriented. We prioritize the use of the latest technology (including advanced digital x-rays and charting) in order to provide the highest quality patient care. We strive for great patient experience and building relationships with our patients.

The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. We offer a friendly, caring work atmosphere, incentives and bonuses, competitive pay and benefits.

As our perfect match you:

· Have the ability to maintain a current certification of CDA/RDA in the State
·Possess a current x-ray certification or in the process
·Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
· Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service
Assist with chairside procedures and provide support to the dentist during treatments.
Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to assist in patient care.
Maintain sterilization of instruments and equipment to ensure aseptic technique.
Manage patient records and documentation accurately.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care to patients.
· Show a strong respect for all of your coworkers, regardless of position
· Are willing to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization
· Have a thorough understanding of the importance of taking dental histories and maintaining accurate patient records
Have experience providing front office support, such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, and maintaining patient records
Can readily take instruction from the treating provider, and can adapt to different styles and requirements
Solution oriented mindset, self driven, positive attitude, detail oriented are desirable attitudes
Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it
Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
