Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Project Management Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with control systems and chemical process, and comfortable working on the plant floor with all levels and backgrounds of personnel in a manufacturing environment. This person will have excellent communication and organizational skills. Since we are a small and rapidly growing company, we all wear a lot of hats and priorities change rapidly. We are seeking someone that can excel in this environment.

Responsibilities

Primarily work on-site at our customer’s location.
Key member of a team responsible for maintaining the customers’ chemical processes and plant fluid systems. Work with maintenance, production, engineering, etc.
Coordinate testing, data maintenance and control plan activities in accordance with customer expectations both manually and automatically as we implement automation.
Attend customer meetings regularly representing the company and respond to inquiries from customer personnel.
Monitor and ensure chemical process operation, calibration, and data reporting for each department.
Perform any required maintenance or adjustments to sensors, electronic components and piping associated with the controllers. Work with UAW trades as needed for more extensive repairs or installation. (Training provided)
Travel between customer and lab locations to transfer samples, parts, etc. as required.
Work with customer personnel to identify and implement projects designed to improve safety, quality, and cost in alignment with customer’s goals.
Perform basic laboratory bench testing and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Assist and coordinate the many other tasks a small business requires.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related technical field.
Electronic controls, chemical, manufacturing, or similar experience preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft office and strong computer skills. Experience with PowerBI and databases preferred.
Dependable and on time to work. Reliable transportation, ability to travel short distances, during the workday.
Self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
