**PRACTICE OPENING OCTOBER 2026**

About the Practice

Goldman Dermatology of Miami is a brand new, privately owned dermatology practice founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Chloe Goldman. Dr. Goldman has been practicing in the Miami area since 2018, specializing in cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology. Practice opening in October of 2026.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Operations Manager to oversee our dermatology clinic and ensure its efficient functioning. The Clinical Ops Manager plays a crucial role by coordinating patient clinical care services with the patient services team, providers, clinical support team, and management, for patients seeking treatment in the areas of cosmetic medicine, general and surgical dermatology. Delivers excellent service and support to clients and treatment providers with the goal of producing optimal clinical results, safely and with high standards. The ideal candidate for this role has a thorough understanding of CLIA, HIPAA, running labs and clinical operations, protocols, procedures, and compliance. This is a supervisory position. Particularly during the startup phase, this individual will also run as a Medical Assistant to support the clinic and providers.

Compensation

Competitive compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience and scope of responsibility, with the anticipated range of $70,000 - $75,000 per year.

Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

Clinical Operations & Patient Flow Management

Oversee clinical operations, patient flow, and staff duties to ensure seamless operations and adjust as necessary.
Guarantee patient appointments are met in a timely manner.
Collaborate with providers regarding patient treatment plans and results.
Maintain effective communication with personnel, keeping providers, staff, and management updated on clinical care administered.
Assist staff in operational areas (phones, checkout, consultations, etc.) as needed.
Run as a Medical Assistant as needed to support the clinic and its providers.
Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing situations and reprioritize as necessary.
Review and respond to emails and communications promptly and relay information appropriately.

Regulatory Compliance & Clinical Standards

Assist in establishing and maintaining CLIA and HIPAA standards and protocols.
Maintain clinical OSHA and CLIA standards.
Monitor adherence to safety regulations.
Establish a secure and organized lab system to ensure specimens are not compromised.
Update and develop Clinical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure patient photography systems are utilized correctly.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.

Equipment, Inventory, & Vendor Management

Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, repaired promptly, and serviced per manufacturer recommendations.
Maintain accurate inventory control systems and conduct timely counts.
Manage ordering processes.
Manage all vendor and lab communications, supplies, and resources.
Maintain professional relationships with vendors, suppliers, and industry professionals.
Set up monitoring controls to eliminate losses resulting from negligence or theft.

Team Leadership, Development, & Culture

Provide daily leadership, coaching, and personal example to ensure staff and practice efficiency.
Participate in recruitment and hiring efforts.
Develop new clinical staff training programs and oversee onboarding.
Provide ongoing development and conduct performance reviews.
Prepare and conduct regular clinical meetings.
Attend and actively participate in management meetings; relay information back to the team.
Create a motivating environment of positivity, cooperation, and respect.
Demonstrate sound judgment in resolving patient and personnel issues.
Maintain a professional, approachable demeanor with patients, staff, and guests.

Patient Experience & Communication

Develop procedures to deliver optimal patient care.
Manage effective internal and external patient communications.
Ensure patient appointments and experience standards are consistently met.
Have complete knowledge of the practice’s mission, personnel, services, and retail offerings.
Educate and promote additional services offered by the practice.

Business Development & Growth

Participate in business development through effective patient touchpoints, education, follow-ups, and calls to action.
Coordinate the onboarding of new aesthetic technologies and devices, including vendor logistics, installation scheduling, and staff readiness.
Build and strengthen the practice brand and patient/staff loyalty and retention.
Participate in promotion of specials and events; assist in executing events.
Build business and increase bookings through networking, community awareness, and referrals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years in a healthcare management role. Dermatology or related specialty experience is highly preferred.
Prior experience with aesthetic/cosmetic dermatology services (Botox, fillers, lasers)
Experience coordinating vendor trainings, new technology rollouts, or staff incentive programs in a medical aesthetics setting a plus.
Dermatology and medical terminology proficiency required.
Demonstrated familiarity with CLIA and HIPAA protocols.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and proficiency in medical practice management software, phones, and other communication software. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service.
